The merger of the Jeanne d'Arc - Les Orchidées clinics is taking shape

The Clinique Les Orchidées has been part of the Clinique Jeanne d'Arc since 2001. They are certified at the highest level of certification, i.e. A, by the Haute Autorité de Santé.
By 2022, Clinique Les Orchidées will have a new face!

Indeed, with a view to developing activity in the West region and optimizing all resources and means, major work is underway to geographically regroup the 2 structures in more modern and spacious premises on the website of the Clinique Les Orchidées. This merger on the Clinique Les Orchidées site will also improve the quality of care for users, who have access to a high-tech technical platform and all the specialties offered.

Currently, Clinique Les Orchidées carries out surgical, endoscopy and chemotherapy activities (as a Center associated with Clinique Sainte-Clotilde). The Jeanne d'Arc Clinic operates a gynecology-obstetrics activity with its level 2A maternity unit, its neonatology department and its Center for Medical Assistance in Procreation (AMP). All the activities of the Clinique Jeanne d'Arc will be transferred to the Clinique Les Orchidées.

This merger on the site of the Clinique Les Orchidées will allow users to access all the specialties offered on a single site whose quality of care is improved and equipped with a high-tech technical platform with 4 rooms. additional operating theaters and 4 delivery rooms including a nature room. With a total area of 14,600m², the accommodation capacity will increase from 148 to 165 beds and places, i.e.: 70 surgery beds, 40 obstetrics beds (including a family room and 3 "premium"), neonatology department with 6 cradles, 40 outpatient surgery places, 9 bariatric day hospitalization places (obesity).

At the same time, a new 254-space car park, operational since September 2018, was designed with the aim of meeting the needs of all users. The fusion works were studied in consultation between the Management, the architect and the fluid design office, in order to integrate all the essential concerns in terms of energy savings: Thermal design adapted to the tropical climate: reinforced roof insulation, green roofs, solar protection by caps and sunshades adapted according to the orientations, insulating lining of the exposed facades, insulating glazing for the hall; this in order to limit the heat gain on the building as much as possible and to reduce the energy consumption linked to the air conditioning of the premises.

Choice of high-performance equipment in terms of energy efficiency: LED lighting, high-efficiency chilled water production unit, high-efficiency DRV unit. Use of renewable energies: Production of solar hot water for cooking and accommodation, reflection on a self-consumption photovoltaic installation covering 15% of the clinic's electricity consumption. Possibility of natural ventilation in winter: opening windows and ceiling fans in work premises. Main circulations in the open air reducing the thermally controlled building volume accordingly. This large-scale project, supported by the CLINIFUTUR Health Group and SOFIPAR, will benefit the population of the western sector of the island.
