LE POINT*'s annual ranking of hospitals and clinics in France proves once again the determination and performance of the Groupe de Santé CLINIFUTUR establishments in Réunion to guarantee a high level of safety and quality of care (*source https://www.lepoint.fr/).
The new 2024 ranking covers 136 rankings from 85 disciplines in surgery, medicine, obstetrics and psychiatry. It is based on an independent assessment carried out by journalists on 28.5 million anonymised patient records for hospital stays in 2022.
The methodology of the ‘ranking’ has also evolved, taking into account the following indicators: reputation, average length of stay and the outpatient rate. Innovative techniques, such as Enhanced Rehabilitation or Rapid Recovery after Surgery (ERAS), which are practised in our clinics, are valued for their quality of care and faster recovery. It should be noted that all our establishments are subject to a compulsory assessment called certification, carried out by the French National Authority for Health. The scores awarded also reflect the quality of care provided.
Two of the Groupe de Santé CLINIFUTUR establishments on Reunion Island, the Clinique Sainte-Clotilde and the Clinique Les Orchidées, have once again distinguished themselves with special places in several disciplines in the Le Point 2024 ranking:
- Normal childbirth: out of 393 hospitals (excluding CHU) and clinics that managed at least 12 simple deliveries in 2022, the Clinique Sainte-Clotilde, the only establishment in the French overseas departments and territories, was ranked 41st out of the 100 best establishments.
- Myocardial infarction: Clinique Sainte-Clotilde is ranked 27th out of 137 clinics in France.
- Tonsil and vegetation surgery: The Clinique Les Orchidées has improved its ranking compared with previous years, coming 6th out of 295 clinics offering this treatment in France.
- Uterine fibroid surgery: The Clinique Sainte-Clotilde is ranked 44th out of 226 clinics in France
- Uterine cancer: The Clinique Sainte-Clotilde is ranked 24th out of 162 clinics in France in the top 30.
- Surgery - Urinary calculi: The Groupe de Santé CLINIFUTUR maintains its position as national leader in this discipline, with two of its establishments in the top 40 clinics (out of a total of 302 clinics): Clinique Sainte-Clotilde in 15th place and Clinique Les Orchidées in 37th place.
